Cansu Kurt
Senior Account Executive
What I did...
As I have always been interested in different languages and cultures, I started my career in tourism after leaving school. I worked in a travel agency and completed my training as a tourism agent. To open more doors in the tourism industry, I then studied Tourism and Travel Management and had the great opportunity to gain both theoretical insights during a semester at a university in Paris and practical experience in the marketing department of the German National Tourist Board's branch office in France. I was also able to improve my English and French language skills. I now support the GCE team in the supervision and management of French-speaking destinations.
What I do now...
I now support the GCE team in the supervision and management of French-speaking destinations. Together with my team, I look after our clients Monaco and the islands of Tahiti and coordinate various sales and marketing activities in the DACH market as Senior Account Executive.
How I spend my free time...
Traveling is very important in my life, not only professionally but also privately. I enjoy discovering new places, which I capture with great joy and passion through the camera lens for all eternity. I have always been fascinated by different languages and cultures. In my free time, I often go to concerts with artists from different musical genres - preferably in English, French, German and Spanish. Apart from going out, I also like to enjoy a relaxed and quiet time with family or friends.
What I bring to GCE...
Thanks to the combination of my vocational training and my studies, I have not only theoretical specialist knowledge but also practical experience in the tourism industry and very good language skills in English and French. Thanks to my experience abroad and my contact with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, I also have the ability to communicate and cooperate effectively on an international level.
