Note on data transfer to the USA and other third countries
Among other things, we use tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that are not secure under data protection law. Scope and purpose of data collection
If you send us an application, we will process your associated personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during job interviews, etc.) to the extent that this is necessary to decide on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is § 26 BDSG under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (GDPR) (general contract initiation) and - if you have given your consent - Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO (GDPR). Retention period of the data
If we are unable to make you a job offer, you reject a job offer or withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have submitted on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (GDPR)) for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). The data will then be deleted, and the physical application documents destroyed. The retention serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. 7. Information events for the travel industry
From time to time, we organise information events, roadshows or similar events together with partner companies. These are generally free of charge and include a supporting programme as well as food and drink. Promotional gifts can also be distributed. At these events, we inform you about the latest travel trends and you have the opportunity to make contacts with our partner companies. Our partner companies usually share the financing of these events and also use this opportunity to offer their products and services. As part of the registration process for such events, we request the following data from you:

Data categories 1 to 6 are passed on to our partners for advertising purposes. We use the photos and film recordings of you for various publications. This includes the presentation on our homepage as well as the use in social media (e.g. Instagram and Facebook page) and for printed products (e.g. catalogues and flyers). The information on food allergies or intolerances remains with us. This is used to order food and drinks from our catering partners that you can tolerate. You can recognise to whom we forward your data by the respective logos of our sponsors, which are listed in the registration form.
Unless we hear from you to the contrary, data categories 1 to 6 will be used and stored on an ongoing basis for advertising purposes. After your objection, the data will be deleted after the retention period has expired. Photos and film recordings that are found in social media can practically no longer be deleted ("The Internet forgets nothing"). Photos in printed products can also no longer be retrieved once the printed products have been printed and distributed. Information on food allergies or intolerances is deleted a few weeks after the event.
The data that we require as the organiser is processed on our in-house infrastructure in compliance with data protection regulations. The data that we pass on to our partner companies is processed on their IT infrastructure in compliance with data protection regulations. We would like to point out at this point that our partner companies themselves are responsible for compliance with data protection.
The legal basis for this data collection is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO (GDPR).
