Born in Germany, to Portugese parents, I am fluent in two languages. This, together with “Saudade”, in Portugese meaning a feeling of longing and melancholy, led me to study languages with a focus on Lusitanian studies. This has enabled me to understand the literature and language of my origins. After graduating I worked for a leading tourism PR agency in Germany and gained extensive experience in all areas of PR and the tourism industry. Over the past 18 years, I have worked with numerous clients from the hotel industry as well as destinations.

What I do now…

As Senior Account Manager, I am responsible for VIVA Cruises, VIVA RIVERSIDE, Lisbon, OLIMAR Reisen, Madeira, Gräflicher Park Heath & Balance Resort and Sonne Frankenberg. I am the main contact for these clients and drive their successful communication strategies.

What I do for fun…

I love to indulge my senses and enjoy good food, good wine and hosting family and friends. I find the best way to relax is to read a good book and am a big fan of the Portuguese writer José Saramago. I also volunteer in the Portuguese Catholic community to keep in touch with my Portuguese roots. My favourite city is Lisbon, and I love to travel there for both work and pleasure.
