What I have done…
I grew up in tourism: after studying comparative literature, Spanish philology and cultural anthropology in Göttingen, I worked for around ten years as an editor for the trade magazine "Travel One" and was able to get to know every area of our wonderful industry. However, after a few years I felt the desire to get a taste of the corporate world and so I joined Lufthansa Servicekarten GmbH. I worked there for almost five and a half years as Communications Manager in Corporate Communications.
What I do now…
Back to the roots: As Senior Account Manager, I am now responsible for press and public relations for the brands Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis, The Royal, for the river cruise operator Viva Cruises and for the Principality of Monaco.
What I do for fun…
Of course I like to travel a lot, that's part of it. However, as a native of Hamburg, I also need to be close to home from time to time and I enjoy traveling with friends, family and especially with my little Italian mongrel dog. Of course, as a Frankfurt resident by choice, you can't avoid a glass or two of good wine.
What I bring to GCE…
In addition to extensive specialist knowledge, above all a broad network, a great deal of commitment and creativity as well as a good feel for trends and developments and the ability to change perspectives from time to time. Apart from that, an open ear, a good mood and a great sense of humor are of course also part of my portfolio...
