The Delta Open Air Resort is a tourism development project in Porto Garibaldi (Comacchio) on the northern Italian Adriatic coast, with an opening planned for 2027. On an area of approximately 390,000 square meters, an open-air resort is being developed with an investment volume of around 73 million euros.

The project was initiated by entrepreneur Ted Tomasi and designed together with Adriano D’Andrea Ricchi. The aim is to develop a contemporary model of open-air hospitality that combines tourism use, landscape, and infrastructure, while integrating into the ecological characteristics of the Po Delta.

The resort comprises more than 1,250 accommodation units, including open-air living units, garden villas, camping pitches, as well as a hotel with 73 rooms. The offer is complemented by facilities for sports, wellness, gastronomy, as well as meeting and event spaces.

A key element of the concept is its integration into the existing landscape. This includes measures such as the restoration of around five hectares of forest area, the planting of more than 1,500 trees, and the use of energy-efficient construction methods and a photovoltaic system.

With its approach, the Delta Open Air Resort combines different types of use and is aimed both at international leisure travelers and the MICE segment.

Das Projekt wurde von Unternehmer Ted Tomasi initiiert und gemeinsam mit Adriano D’Andrea Ricchi konzipiert. Ziel ist es, ein zeitgemäßes Modell für Open-Air-Hospitality zu entwickeln, das touristische Nutzung, Landschaft und Infrastruktur miteinander verbindet und sich in die ökologischen Gegebenheiten des Po-Deltas integriert.

Das Resort umfasst über 1.250 Unterkunftseinheiten, darunter Open-Air-Wohneinheiten, Garden Villas, Stellplätze sowie ein Hotel mit 73 Zimmern. Ergänzt wird das Angebot durch Einrichtungen für Sport, Wellness, Gastronomie sowie Flächen für Meetings und Veranstaltungen.

Ein zentraler Bestandteil des Konzepts ist die Einbindung in die bestehende Landschaft. Dazu gehören Maßnahmen wie die Wiederherstellung von rund fünf Hektar Waldfläche, die Pflanzung von über 1.500 Bäumen sowie der Einsatz energieeffizienter Bauweisen und eines Photovoltaiksystems.

Mit seinem Ansatz verbindet das Delta Open Air Resort verschiedene Nutzungsformen und richtet sich sowohl an internationale Urlaubsgäste als auch an den MICE-Bereich.
