LaPosch Living Lands
LaPosch Living Lands
Short profile
LaPosch begins with a longing: the longing for a place where the mountains are not just a backdrop, but home. When Dominik Posch returned to Biberwier in Tyrol from his studies abroad in France in 2007, he brought with him a new perspective on his homeland – an image of mountain huts, meadows, peaks, and a way of life in harmony with nature. Out of this longing, a small chalet village was created, welcoming its first guests in 2009 and gradually evolving into a special retreat. Today, LaPosch comprises 16 accommodation units, nestled among meadows on the banks of the Loisach River, featuring a crystal-clear swimming lake, a restaurant, and an atmosphere that provides a sense of comfort and belonging.
But LaPosch has never been a finished chapter. Amelie and Dominik Posch continue to develop what once began as a vision, guided by courage and a love of nature. With LaPosch – Living Lands, opening in summer 2026, a new and tranquil part of this destination is being created: 10 additional units, including 6 lodges directly on the Loisach River and 4 spacious suites in the new main building. The architecture blends gently into the landscape, transforming former fallow land into a place of peace, mindfulness, and conscious living.
Living Lands is designed to be a space where people can reconnect with what truly matters: time, care, and nature. And with the quiet strength that emerges when we reconnect with ourselves and the landscape around us.
